How I came to create this blog + 10,000 views!

Hallo guys! I'm really excited because over the past few months I've noticed that a lot of people have been visiting this blog. So many have visited that it makes this blog hit almost 10,000 views. Now, I don't know about you, but I'm really thrilled about this.

"But Jessica! How could you be so exhilarated over this little thing?"

How can I not!? I mean, if you think about it, you'd be pretty proud of this too:

This is my first blog I've ever created. How, you may ask? Well, it all started when I made an Xat chat. It was called the "FantageChewingClub." Wondering why I called it that? You see, I was chatting with a few of my friends, and one of them suggested we do a club. So we called it the Fantage Chewing Club. I would've preferred naming it The Chewing Club, but I guess The Fantage Chewing Club stuck. So that's how that chat came to be.

I used to go on one particular chat called Fantage Aqua Love, but they banned me from going there for eternity, so I just decided to hang at my own chat, lonely or not. Eventually I met some friends and people joined my chat. That's how I met the staff, Miley, Stella, Riley, and Sunny. I had some help from Miley by helping and guiding me how to create the chat and blog, along with Riley and the others. And that's how this blog and chat were created! :D

Hopefully, with some effort, this blog will reach 1,000,000 views with the help of you all. I'm really curious to see if you Chewers can handle making it to 1,000,000.

Well, until next time, Chewers!

How to stay positive!

Positivity

Hallo guys! As you can see, this post will be all about being positive! Hopefully, some of you out there that are usually very negative will realize that being positive would be a good change for you. (:

First of all, what does the word "Positive" mean? I know many of you describe the term as the following:

Happy, gleeful, cheerful, overjoyed, excited, enthusiasm, etc.

And of course, all those words definitely describe what positivity is. But unfortunately, many people in the world, believe it or not, are not positive. They can be depressed because of some situation they're in, or some other reason. A person can also be stressed out, suicidal, a cutter, etc. But they can fix that if they try hard enough.

Just think about happy thoughts. If someone tells you negative things, like, "Omg, you look so ugly!" "You shouldn't be alive." "Everyone hates you." "Nobody loves you," then you know what? Don't listen to them. Just shoot them a glare, hold your middle finger up (kids 12 and under, you obviously can't do this) , and walk away. They don't know your life; they don't know your story. So just press the ignore button on those rude kids and continue on with your life.

Of course, there are plenty of other ways to stay positive and just turn away from the people that torture you. But I recommend using this method so you can just live freely without anyone hurting you.

Well, until next time, Chewers!

My sister's birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Hallo guys! You can already guess what this post is going to be about: my sister's birthday! Her birthday was yesterday, May 15th, and I didn't have enough time to make her a post since my family and I had to go and buy a cake for her. A princess cake, to be specific. Then after we went for the cake, we went to this ice cream shop, which has the best ice cream in the world.

She turned 2 years old yesterday, just so you know. And perhaps in the future she may read this post and the many other future posts I plan to write.

Well, until next time, Chewers!

ALMOST THERE!

School's almost out!

Hallo guys! It's been about a week or two since I've probably made a post, but that's because I've had all sorts of events popping up and I obviously had to attend them.

..Wondering what those events were, eh?

"Wha.. How'd ya know I was thinking that, Jess?"

I'm a mind reader. Yes. You read correctly. I can read your deepest, secretive thoughts.. even your perverted thoughts.

I'm joking! But I know what you're thinking about, so don't worry. I'll answer all the questions that are running in your mind right now.

Anyways, back to answering your question. The events I had to go to were the following, and yes, I'll explain each one, not too much, but not to the point where you still have some questions left:

  • A concert - In my school, I go to band classes, and I have been going to those classes since the sixth grade. It's going to be my third year in August. Every year there are two concerts I have to attend: one's in December, and one is in May. I just had one on May the 7th. I have to play at the school, since that's where we set up the concerts. I must be on time, so I head off to the school at 5:45 p.m. and arrive at 6:00 p.m., which is when the sixth graders start playing. One hour later, it's 7:00 and it's my turn to play with the eighth graders. We have to play three music pieces together. And no, we don't play the same pieces of music over and over again, in case you were wondering. I play my instrument, which is the clarinet (yes, I assure you I do play the clarinet), until 8:00 p.m. There are many other events I have to go to since I'm in band, but this is one of those events that I went to recently.

  • Honors night - Basically what this was was I went to my school and they gave a bunch of awards. I went on May 12th (Tuesday) and I got one award that was about my grades and behavior being outstanding. The things I got were a certificate and a medal. Huzzah!

These two events were the main things that suddenly came, though I knew the band concert was coming. The other event was unexpected for me, but I'm really proud of myself for getting an award!

I also got to pick my classes for the eighth grade. One of the three classes I chose was band, and I have that class all year long. For my first semester, I chose a class where you get to learn how apps and video games are created, and from what I heard, there's a lot of coding and math involved in this class. But I'm pretty good at math and I am really excited to see what I'll be doing there. In my second semester, I'll be taking French. I know Spanish (my first language), English, some dutch (still learning), and in about half a year, I'll learn French, my future fourth language. :D

Also, school's almost over for me, and I'll be posting many more posts. I just need this week, which is finals week for me, and I'll be done.

Well, until next time, Chewers!

PART 1- The Willow Tree ~Riley

PART 1- The Willow Tree
Riley's Writer's Corner

The voice was very rasp and harsh, although very clear and loud. “Come here, my darling!” It drew me in, the walls tightening around me. I close my eyes. Darkness. The witch’s cackle drowns me quicker and quicker, as sweat slowly trickles down my cheek…

“Oh, that is just absolutely horrendous, you should be thankful you survived that, Prismary!” Aubrey Stars stood in the palace corridor, back stiffened and face painted with a horrified look. But I knew she was faking everything. I knew she wished she hadn't survived in that abhorrent fire. I knew Eliza Stars was a murderer. I knew what she had done.

“Liar!” I finally spoke up, “Aubr-” she was interrupted once again.

“Prismary! How dare you call out those kinds of things in the middle of an investigation, when you could have almost gotten killed? I suggest you keep your little mouth shut and be thankful, you hear me?” Aubrey pushed me aside and perched me on a lounge chair. She glared at me and went back to the policemen. Her kind smile fooled them, her eyes sparkling as she tricked them into believing it must have been my fault playing with fire. Sure.

I quietly and quickly hopped down from the chair and walked down to my room. The sounds drowned as I walked down more and more. Finally I reached my room, smooth violet walls and books filling in every little space and crevice. I sighed and dramatically plopped on my bed. Minutes later, the door creaked open. Ms. Ava.

“Hi, sweetheart,” she said sweetly. She turned the light switch on and served me a tray of goodies. “I heard what happened down there, are you okay?” I nodded silently and she frowned. “Don’t ever play with fire again, understand? You could ha-”

“It’s not my fault!” I exclaimed, thrusting a slice of roll cake at my closet. “Aubrey’s the one who dragged me into the stupid fire!”
“Woah, Prismary! Slow the heck down. You don’t want to create a recipe for disaster, now do you? And what are you talking about? Ms. Stars tried to save you in the fire, don’t incriminate her, okay? Whatever has gotten into your mind better get out.” Ms. Ava stood up and cleaned the slice of roll cake. She shut the door, shaking her head.

The Storm Chapter 4 SNEAK PEAK!

The Storm Chapter 4 SNEAK PEAK

Hey guys, it's Leilani here! I am so sorry some staff members have been not been able to post as much as we usually do. As some of you know some staff members have states tests, or exams...So we have not been able to be active. But I am sure as soon as all of these exams hurry by, we will be posting like usual! Anyways, I have written part of my series 'The Storm'- but it's not finished. That means I have not edited this. I hope you enjoy! :) If you haven't seen Chapter 1, 2, or 3, you might want to check those out before you read Chapter 4. Click here to view them.

The Storm; Chapter 4

I stared at Mother in Confusion. Silence occupied the room. At last- the food on the stove started to boil. Mother continued cooking while talking to me.

-"June," she said stiffly. "you know your father had to work overtime..He was unaware that an enormous thunderstorm would pop up on him like that."

-"No one," I said sharply, but quietly, "ever mentioned that Dad was working overtime.."
It's like I don't exist...I thought.

-"June" she sighed "I think it was pretty obvious"

I grew very impatient with Mother and let out a huge sigh.

Mother finished fiddling with the food and took a chance to focus on me.

She looked at me. I wasn't sure what she was going to say. She shrugged her shoulders slightly and said "Your father is just fine."..

"Now!" She said, trying to sound 'cheery' and bright, "Go get ready for your tutoring lessons."

"W-w-what?" I stuttered, then cocked my head to the side.

I hope you enjoyed!

Hey, You're Beautiful. ♥

"Hey, You're Beautiful." ♥

"D-rrrrrrrring!" The sound of my alarm clock rung through my ears, telling my brain to smack the little pink clock I hated. I sighed loudly and limped to the bathroom. Then, I looked into the hideous, abhorrent reflection in the gleaming mirror...

Hi, Chewers! Riley here! <3
So...my school entered a writing contest called Reflections. We decided to have our own competition after the spelling bee, and the theme was "Reflections". I wanted to write something that truly reflects me everyday, but something totally creative. I feel ugly, inside and outside. I want to be someone who's kind, someone who has beautiful, thick honey blonde hair, defined pink lips, a thin nose, glistening hazel eyes, and a thin figure. But even that isn't perfect. Here's my writing! (I won 1st place <3 so I figured it was decent. ;)

Hi, my name is Ella Casey. I'm just your average 7th grader, except for the average part. I was kidnapped by an evil reprobate at the age of 6 and was shot, it was abhorrent. I had to get surgery on my knee and leg as well as a horrible cast on my arm after escaping their shed. I got shot in the face, and I regret running away from my family. I ran away because they treat me like the remains on the floor in a factory, never listening to me, always picking at me, making fun of my autism and hearing aids. I'm just ugly, it's the truth. Now, Bethany, my sister, on the other hand, she is exceptional. She has gorgeous ebony hair, thick lips, a slim nose, rosy pink cheeks, and beautiful sparkling green eyes. Of course she has all the friends and guys, but I just sit at the back of the classroom and lunchroom wishing to be a speck of pretty.

One day, my mom called me into the family room. She said she wishes I wasn't her child because I was so ugly and embarrassing to the family. So, she sent me to the orphanage where I cried every single night. She discarded me and kept Bethany. She encouraged Beth to sign up for beauty pageants, enter the talent shows, and become famous. But I was just an "embarrassment" to the family, so I never bothered to write back. Of course I had no friends so it didn't really matter of the fact that I had to go to the orphanage. But when I came to the brick building, things changed. I met a girl named Emily who was behind me at the convenient store. She was perched on a wheelchair and a lace veil. "Hi, I'm Emily," she said, "I hope we can be friends, the other girls make fun of my face." Emily removed her veil and I saw the most ugliest face ever. It was deformed and she didn't have her third finger.

The next day I looked in the mirror. I saw something beautiful, something valuable, someone richer than any silver, diamond, emerald, anything. Just then someone else beautiful entered the room. It was Bethany, covered head to toe in elegance and pure beauty. She said, "Hey, you're beautiful." ♥
